"I remember Joe as a big bear of a boy...and a very kind one. He always looked out for me on the sledding hill. I can recall too him keeping an eye out for me walking back from the bus stop. I never got to see Joe in his crowning moment on stage; we'd moved by then, but I remember my Mom, who gave him piano lessons always remarked that he held great talent for music. I am so glad for you, Joe, that you are now free. Say hello to Mom and Sister for me. Fly like an eagle and may your voice soar. . "
