Marvin C. Bennett, Jr., age 88, of Jesup, Georgia, passed away on June 3, 2018 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Marvin C. Bennett, Jr. was born in Jesup, Georgia to Pearl Landon-Bennett and Marvin C. Bennett, Sr., on January 8, 1930. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Navy.
He is preceded in death by Carolyn L. Schwartz and Carol S. Clemens.
Marvin is survived by his children, Patricia A. Bennett, Marvin C. Bennett, III and Tyrone C. Clemens; his sisters Cleo (Bob) Hudson and Kathleen (Bill) Brundage. Also by his grandchildren, Jeffrey M. Trammell, Jr., Ashley M. Bennett, Marvin C. Bennett IV, Timothy C. Clemens, Jason T. Clemens and Jordan T. Clemens.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, located at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm. The family members of Marvin C. Bennett, Jr. wish to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Steven Kanner, nurse Tamara, CNA Eugenie and Vitas Hospice.
