Emma E. Ecklor

Emma E. Ecklor, 72, of Marshalltown, IA, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her residence. Cremation rites were accorded. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Emma was born on January 11, 1946, to Gail and Juanita (Kluwin) Williams in Dunn, NC. She attended the Union-Whitten Schools. On November 2, 1974, Emma was united in marriage to Richard Ecklor, Sr. in Marshalltown. Emma had a knack for word searches and coloring in intricate coloring books. She also enjoyed crocheting, watching wrestling, and animal shows.

Emma is survived by her three children: Robert Williams of Dunn, Jeri Williams Davenport of Marshalltown, and Richard Ecklor of Marshalltown; and five grandchildren: Mike Williams of Marshalltown, Robert Wayne Williams and Lacy Lee Williams, both of Dunn, and Emily Jean Carter and Olivia May Carter, both of Ames, IA. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Shirley Bown of Marshalltown, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents, Gail and Juanita, two brothers, Robert "Hobo" Williams and Ronnie Williams, and a great aunt, Grace Meyer.
