Romona D. Johnsonbaugh
March 17, 1926 - June 6, 2018

Romona D. Johnsonbaugh, 92, of Muncie, passed away Wednesday morning, June 6, 2018, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born Wednesday, March 17, 1926, in Wells County, Indiana, the daughter of Graydon and Marguerite (Snarr) Clark. Romona was a member of Northside Assembly of God. She graduated from Yorktown High School in 1943. Romona was first employed by AT&T as an operator; then after working as a secretary to the Vice President of Student Affairs for twenty-five years, retired from Ball State University. She volunteered at the Muncie Mission after her retirement, enjoyed doing puzzles and playing Mexican Train with her friends and family.
Romona was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold W. Johnsonbaugh; her parents, Graydon and Marguerite Clark; two sisters, Theresa Luttrell, and W. Marcella Armstrong; and brothers-in-law, Paul Luttrell, and Arthur "Bud" Armstrong.
Romona is survived by her children; two sons, Joel and Steven Johnsonbaugh; one daughter, Lisa (husband Rick) Hottinger; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304, on Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Services will be held to celebrate the life of Romona on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
She resided at Elmcroft Assisted Living Center for the past seven years. The family would like to thank the staff for the excellent care and friendship they extended to her.
