Madison - Pauline C. Goebel, age 92, passed away on June 7, 2018, at All Saints Memory Care in Madison. Paula was born November 22, 1925, in Madison. She was united in marriage to Leo Goebel on October 2, 1948.
Family was central to Paula's life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Leo, her loving daughters; Pat (Ron) Ziwisky,Watertown, Mary (Scott) Herrmann, Bannockburn, Illinois, and Sue Goebel, Madison, her grandchildren; Carrie (Matthew) Marino, Jessica (Mike Holden) Herrmann, Zachary (Kelly Mclaughlin) Herrmann, and Michael (Kate) Ziwisky, and great-grandchildren; William, Allison, Bennett and Lucas.
Paula was a charter member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church where she tirelessly and joyfully served as a dedicated volunteer. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and golfing with her many friends.
Paula approached life with enduring optimism and a wonderful sense of humor. She will always be remembered for her kind, gracious and loving spirit.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Dr., Madison, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. with Msgr. Kenneth J. Fiedler presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
