Gustavo G. Cardenas, Gustavo G. Cardenas (Tavo), of San Angelo, passed away on Friday June 8, 2018 in San Angelo, TX. Tavo was born in Ballinger to Zaragosa and Mary (Gomez) Cardenas on March 5, 1929. He married Elida De Los Santos on May 27, 1950 in San Angelo. He played baseball with the San Angelo Eagles and the South Side Lions Club. He is preceded in death by parents and three brothers and his sons Robert and David. Tavo is survived by wife, Elida Cardenas and a special daughter in law Pinkie, sons; Gustavo Jr., Oscar, Daniel, Henry, and Bobby Ray Cardenas. Prayer service is 7:00pm Sunday June 10, 2019 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Monday June 11, 2018 at First Mission Baptist Church in El Dorado.
