Cynthia A. Dees 70 of Punta Gorda died on June 10, 2018 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida.
She was born on January 18, 1948 in Punta Gorda, Florida to Thomas H. Howze and Gladys Edwards Howze.. Cynthia was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Punta Gorda, Florida.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Donald K. Dees of Punta Gorda, Florida; daughter, Melissa (Chris) Jericka of Punta Gorda, Florida; her daughter-in-law, Stacey Dees of Topeka, Kansas; her 3 sisters, Sophia (Jim) Wondergem of Punta Gorda, Florida, Sylvia (Ed) Keeler also of Punta Gorda, Florida and Shelia Austin of Troy, Maine; her 4 grandchildren, Madison, Allegra, Astra and Aslan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Dees who died August 2, 2017.
Visitation Friday, June 15, 2018 from 2:00p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Services will start at 3: p.m. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 635 East Marion Ave. Punta Gorda, Florida. Burial will follow at Indian Springs Cemetery in Punta Gorda, Florida.
