Fort Worth�Annex Anne Hudgins Cornwell, 88, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018, peacefully in her sleep after a lengthy illness.
Anne was born August 27, 1929, in Fort Worth. She attended Amon Carter Riverside High School and Texas Wesleyan College, where she met the love of her life, Tom Roby Cornwell.
Anne and Tom were married for over 64 years until Tom's death in 2012. Tom and Anne raised a family of two boys and one daughter. They lived in several cities throughout the United States before settling in Bedford in the early 80's. Anne was such a special lady, she did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and other local charities and was also very active in her church, First United Methodist Church of Hurst.
Anne will be met at the gates of her next chapter by Tom; her daughter, Patricia (Trisha); her sister, Billie; and niece, Iris; and several close friends.
Survivors: Sons, Larry and David; six grandchildren, Wesley Hines, T.J. Hines, Chaysen Wischnewsky, Cori Cornwell, Ashley Baum and Austin Cornwell; sister, Jennie Lee; and brother, Pat Hudgins.
