Doris Elaine Weber
December 28, 1928 - June 14, 2018

Doris Elaine (Troudt)Weber was born December 28, 1928 in Gill, CO to Conrad and Leona (Miller) Troudt. She grew up in Gill and after moving with her family to Greeley, in 1944, she graduated from College High School in 1946. She attended Colorado State College in Greeley, for one year.

Doris married Albert H. Weber on November 28, 1948 in Greeley. After their marriage, they farmed in Hoyt for six years, moving to Prospect Valley in 1954 to farm. During their marriage, they had three children. They were members of Zoar Congregational Church where Doris was a member of Ladies Aid, taught Sunday school and played the piano. She worked in food service for 19 years, retiring in 2004.

Doris liked to crochet, making many afghans for family, read, do yard work, bake and cook. Her cinnamon rolls were the best! She loved baking cookies which were enjoyed by many family members. The grandkids loved her spaghetti and meatballs! She loved music and enjoyed helping others when she could.

Doris was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church where she enjoyed being a member of Women's Fellowship. Her church family was very important to her. She also enjoyed helping with the noodle making at church every fall and was a part of this until last year. She was known for her loaves of German Rye Bread for the bake sake and soup suppers.

Survivors are two sons, Rodney (Colleen) of Broken Bow, NE and Steve (Terry) of Greeley; one daughter, Sharon (Richard) Klausner of Roggen; six granddaughters, Brenda (John) Barnes, Janice (Dale) Nozicka, Traci (Scott) Steinbar, Valerie (Daryl) Jones, Crystal (Brandon) Lyons, Lisa (Dan) Falter; two grandsons, Greg Weber (James Barnett) and Joe (Jessica) Marshall; twenty one great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter just born and didn't get a chance to meet.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, Nadine Troudt and Marian Scheller; one brother, Norman Troudt and one great grand-daughter, Danika Steinbar.

Visitation will be Monday, June 18, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at the Allnutt Macy Chapel.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at St. Paul's Congregational Church.
