Caskey, James A., age 88, of Liberty Township, OH passed away on June 15, 2018 at UC West Chester Hospital. He was born on Jan. 16, 1930 to the late Raymond and Margaret Caskey. James graduated from Hamilton High School in 1948 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He was plant manager for the Calimite Company and then retired from the General Electric Company. On October 7, 1948 in Hamilton, OH he married his loving wife Joanne (Iutzuwig) Caskey. James loved being with his family and they will miss him greatly. James joins in death his parents; wife Joanne Caskey; sisters Willa Sampauski, Patty Ann Ripley and Margaret Marrow; brothers Raymond, Donald and Robert Caskey; He leaves behind his son James "Jim" P. Caskey; daughter Joanne S. Caskey; grandchildren Angie Thomas, Scott Tipton and Amy Tipton; great grandchildren Nathan Wood, Eric Wood, Sammy Tipton and Marshall Tipton. James was a member of Lindenwald United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH from 1:00PM - 2:00PM with the funeral service starting at 2PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
