Roy Henry Miller
July 9, 1930 - June 13, 2018

Roy H. Miller, 87, of Eaton CO, passed away June 13, 2018 at his home. Roy was born to John and Lydia (Kehn) Miller on July 9, 1930 in Ault CO.

Mr. Miller was a lifetime resident of Weld County. He attended schools in the Gill area. He was a farmer and cattle feeder, up until his retirement in 2001.

He served in the Navy during the Korean War until being honorably discharged in 1954.

On October 1, 1955, he married Jeanette Herrman in Brighton. They had three children.

Mr. Miller loved farming and family. He was a past member of the T-Bone Club and received the High 10 Award for the sugar beets he raised. He took great pride in his family and farming. He loved to go and watch his grandchildren compete in their sports. He also loved to play cards and go to the Dutch Hop dances on Saturday nights.

Roy is survived by his daughters, Susan Miller, Eaton, Sandra (KJ) Joseph, Eaton, sisters; Florence Helzer, Evans, Darlene (Bill) Honstein, Greeley; brother, Harvey (Susie) Miller, OR; daughter-in-law Wendy Miller; Grandchildren, Justin (Lindsey) Felker, Eaton, Chelsea Gust, Greeley, Jaxon and Allie Hobbs, Eaton, Justin Joseph (Maggie Essig) Greeley, Jake (Shannon) Joseph, Platteville, Carrie Miller, Fort Collins, Audrey (Darin) Clary, Eaton, and Brandie (Tim) Mahaffy, Eaton; Great grandchildren, Hudson, John, Katherine, Gunnar, Sophie and Luke and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jeanette, son Johnny, brother Lyle Miller and numerous brother and sister in laws.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
