Arlena Jane Tinnes
October 26, 1945 - June 18, 2018

KEOTA-Arlena Jane Tinnes, age 72, of Keota, died Monday, June 18, 2018, at her home.
Arlena was born October 26, 1945, in Mexico, Missouri, to James and Frances (Fisher) Sharon. She attended Keota High School. Arlena was united in marriage to Dennis Tinnes on April 24, 1963, in Lovilia, Iowa. She lived most of her life in the Keota community and attended Faith Baptist Church in Washington and Good Neighbor Fellowship in Keota. Arlena enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and being involved in several Bible Study groups. She was excited to come face to face with her Lord, Jesus Christ, and "to be reunited with my Denny and my Pearl."
Survivors include her son James and wife Kim, daughters: Paula Orr and husband Tim, Patty Tinnes and friend Nathan Jaster; son-in-law: Rob Lane (Pearl); six grandchildren: Jason Tinnes, Jessica Mahan and husband Nick, Brittany Lane, Benjamin Orr, Melissa Orr and Hannah Aguilar and husband Joaquin and eight great grandchildren: Gabriel, Nora, Jaxon and Levi Tinnes, Emily and Brian Mahan and Samuel and Maelee Aguilar. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Dennis; daughter: Pearl; father-in-law: August Tinnes, Jr. and brothers-in-law: Leroy Tinnes and Larry Tinnes.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with Doug Tinnes officiating. Burial will be at Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the funeral home.
