Dorothy LaMae Poplawski, 68, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away June 22, 2018.
She was born in Denver, Colorado on May 29, 1950.
She was married to Walter (Butch) Poplawski on February 27, 1965.
Dorothy had a successful painting company she ran with her husband Butch Poplawski for over 30 years in New Hampshire.
She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the American Legion, the Elks Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She had a passion for knitting and puzzles.
She is survived by her children; Penny Poplawski, Gary Poplawski, Jeff Poplawski, all from New Hampshire; grandchildren, Rickie Poplawski, Tia Poplawski, Nikki Maria, Jefferey Poplawski, Jason Poplawski, Ashlynn Poplawski, Meridith Poplawski, and Ryen Poplawski.
She also leaves behind four great grandchildren, brother Butch Synograound from Kansas and sister Helen Synoground in California.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Loyal Order of Moose, 3462 Loveland Blvd Port Charlotte, FL 33952 on Saturday June 30th at 1pm.
