"I always enjoyed talking baseball with Dick at the family reunions. We will keep you in our prayers during this difficult time."

"We loved playing the Union golf course. Dick kept his golf cart there. After our round of golf we would stop at the "Ginger Snap", just South of the course, for lunch and a dish of hand dipped ice cream. The food there is super. The 6th tee is real close to the "Ginger Snap", so sometimes we would drive the cart over there and have lunch and go back and finish the last 4 holes. That was a lot of fun. Great times."

"My golfing and exercise buddy, passed away today. Dick and I played golf once or twice a week at the Union Golf Course. Dick was a great guy. We played in the "Wednesday Senior League". We also tried to get in an extra day a week, on Monday. When I made my one and only lifetime Birdie, Dick jumped about 2 feet into the air."

"Kim, Joel and families: I was so sorry to learn of your Father's passing. I was your babysitter when Kim and Joel we're little. I spent a lot of time in your Laurel home. Your Father was always kind to me. May God bless you and comfort you."
