Grace Willson, 97, of St. Charles died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles. Grace was born August 28, 1920 in Zumbrota to August and Gurina Skordahl. She and Walter "Jim" Willson were married in 1946. They moved to St. Charles in 1948. Grace worked at Home Produce and Travelers Eat Shop before becoming an in home day care provider for many years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in St. Charles, where Grace was active playing piano for several years. Jim died in 2008.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat, (Phillip) Balsama of Pleasanton, CA, three sons; Steve (Carolyn), Bruce (Jeanne) and Dean (Diana) all of St. Charles, four grandchildren; Greg and Matt Willson, Lisa and Brian Balsama and by two great-grandchildren, Gianna and Sofia.
Services to celebrate Grace's life will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles with the Rev. Steve McGinley officiating.
