Richard "Dick" Frank Ferguson
June 30, 1937 - June 29, 2018

Richard "Dick" Frank Ferguson, age 80 of Colfax, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Courtyard Estates in Bondurant. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will take place at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Colfax Fire Department or the Colfax Historical Society.
The son of Harold and Elizabeth (Patterson) Ferguson, Dick was born on June 30, 1937 in Colfax. He graduated from Mingo High School in 1955. On May 22, 1957, he was married to the love of his life, Bonnie Lea Eatwell. For 61 years, they lived on a farm North West of Colfax. Richard farmed, which was his passion and for 44 years worked at the Monroe Table Company. He was a member of the Farm Bureau. Richard's hobbies included raising cattle, cutting trees, and farming. His greatest enjoyment was the time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Bonnie; children, Mike (Laurie) Ferguson and Deb (Greg) Wing; four grandchildren, Rick (Ashley) Wing, Megan (Justin) Aguiniga, Jennie (Bret) Ferneau, and Tori (Matt) Christian; eight great grandchildren, Brecken, Brynlee, Briggs, Annabelle, Madison, Jordon, KayAnna, Sullivan and Jennie's twins on the way; a sister Mary Noe and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Chuck in 1991; and a brother-in-law, Dale Noe.
