"Mr. and Mrs. Meservey always made their home a welcome place for us girls when we were kids. I will always hold fond memories of little Michele?s birthday parties where Mike would entertain nearly 20 little girls with fires, golf cart rides, and games. He?ll be remembered by all of us as a quiet, kind, and giving father. He will be missed greatly. All my love the Merservey girls. Thank you for the memories. "

"Twenty years ago, God blessed us when our family met Mike, Michele, and their girls. I will always remember his stories about the time he spent as an officer for the NYPD and the great respect he had for all Law Enforcement. He married the love of life and raised four beautiful girls that were his world. I will always cherish the good times I had with Mike and be forever thankful having him in our life. He worked so hard to care for his family and his health, which is why his passing at such a young age is so hard to deal with. God bless you Mike. "

"Our family deeply mourns for this tragic loss the Meservey family has suffered and we lift them all up in daily prayer. What I will remember about Mike Meservey is Family and Fun. He loved his wife so deeply and adored his four daughters. I will remember him as always being happy and fun loving. I will remember the love in his eyes when he walked his daughters down the aisle. I will remember his laughter at a party and happiness to spend time with family and friends. His love for life has touched the hearts of so many people. Although with broken hearts, I know his family will carry on and share the love that Mike always shared. Praying for God's peace ??"

"We met Mike almost 20 years ago at a cookout hosted by our neighbors. At that time we certainly could not have foretold how much he and his family would come to be part of our lives. Mike was smart, funny, a huge NY Giant's fan but, most of all, he was a loyal friend. It didn't matter what time of day or what the task, Mike was there to lend a hand. Our lives are forever changed because we knew Mike and he took a piece of our hearts when he passed. We will miss you, dear friend. Rest easy. Love, Steve and Sharon Costedio"

Michael Lubrano wrote on Jul 2, 2018:

"My memory of Michael was the first time I met him Michele, and the girls. It was at a Knights o f Columbus pancake breakfast. I was told there was another retired cop from New York outside with his family. I had to meet a brother. When I came out of the kitchen there he was sitting there sporting his signature mustache. I fell in love with him and his beautiful family right away. When I and my daughters were going through a tough time in our lives Mike and Michele were there for us, there love and friendship never waivered in fact it became stronger. I will forever hold Michele and Mike very close to my heart because of the unconditional love they had shown to me and my daughters. Love you all very much. Mike L. "
