Dejuane Darryl Claybrooks
September 12, 1973 - July 6, 2018

MADISON - Dejuane Darryl Claybrooks was born September 12. 1973 to Robin Claybrooks and departed this world with his wings on July 6, 2018 @ 1222 am at Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg Wisconsin with all his family surrounding him.

He attended St Agatha/St Aloysisus Catholic school and graduated from Lincoln West High School in 1991 in Cleveland Ohio, he immediately went into the US Marine Corps and traveled all over the world and was discharged in 1995. While he was there he learned culinary arts. He loved to cook and was good at it. He has worked in many restaurants in the Cleveland Ohio and Madison Wisconsin Area.

As a child, Dejuane enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together in better working order

Dejuane moved from Cleveland Ohio to Madison Wi. in 2002 because of the job market here and worked in restaurants; also, he loved to drive big trucks.

Dejuane's dream was to be an entrepreneur, he started a business called "Helping Hands General Labor" in 2010 and it grew rapidly through that business he started to learn about the world of construction and the demolition phase of it. In 2017 he decided to go back to school and enter the Construction and Remodeling program and graduated in May 2018 with his certificate and general contractor license. His health started to fail after graduation and he couldn't continue his dream.

He leaves to mourn a wife Deidre H Claybrooks, mother Robin Claybrooks-Hollis (Wisconsin), grandmother, Mrs Annie Claybrooks, 3 children, Cheyenne A, Devyn Dejuane and Tranay, grandson Caydon (Cleveland Ohio,) mother in law Laura (keith)Peck, father in law, George (lynn) Smazal of Janesville, also a vast amount of family from Ohio, Wisconsin, Mississippi, North Carolina and California and an extensive host of friends in Cleveland and Madison areas.

The Family of Dejuane D. Claybrooks would like to sincerely thank all who sent cards, emails, text messages and words of inspiration and gestures during our time of our sorrow.

"It was an honor to sit next to you every day and be your build partner for the first semester of school. We knocked out some high quality stuff together all the while enjoying each others company, sarcasm, and humor. It was unfortunate I couldn?t make it for second semester and the opportunity to graduate together. I will miss you my friend, JD"
