Evelyn Wildman
December 29, 1930 - July 8, 2018

Evelyn Wildman, of Wausau, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Aspirus Hospice House. She was 87 years old. She was born on December 29, 1930, in Antigo, a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Castka) Bina. She married Steve Wildman on September 15, 1951, in Antigo. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2011.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1949.

Mrs. Wildman worked for the United States Postal Service in Wausau as a postal clerk and rural Mail Carrier for 30 years retiring in 1995.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was a member of Rib Mountain Lutheran Church, its Mary Martha and the Altar Guild for 40 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Constance (Chris) Mullins, Raleigh, North Carolina, Nancy (Jim) Sekorski, Rib Mountain, Karen (Allen) Spoehr, Ringle;

a sister, Mary Jensen, Colorado Springs, Colorado; a brother, Harry (Lorraine) Bina, Antigo;

four grandchildren, Danielle (Michael) Houtz, Katie Ekstrom, Matthew Sekorski, Kira Spoehr; two great-grandchildren Sophie Houtz and Addison Ekstrom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandson, Ian Spoehr.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Rib Mountain Lutheran Church 3010 Eagle Ave, Wausau, with Rev. Timothy Swanson officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday 9:30 a.m., until the time of services at the church.

A second visitation will be held on Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A graveside service at the Elmwood Cemetery will follow.

"You have my deepest condolences in your loss of Evelyn. Death is truly an enemy to all of us. Our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah knows the pain that we feel and will comfort us as promised in the Bible book of Revelation in chapter 21 verses 3 and 4. These versus may bring you much comfort."
