Quang Mong Nguyen
January 31, 1943 - June 14, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Quang Mong Nguyen announces his sudden passing at the Poudre Valley Hospital on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Quang Nguyen was born in Lang Son, Viet Nam on January 31, 1943. He was the oldest child of Dong van Nguyen (deceased) and Ninh Thi Nguyen (deceased). Quang Nguyen was the oldest brother of five bothers and one sister: Minh Nguyen, Long Nguyen (deceased), Diep Nguyen, Lan Nguyen and Thuy Thanh Nguyen and cousin Loi Thi Dang, she also the best friend of Quang Mong Nguyen; and three sisters-in-law ThienThi Le, TinhVinh Nguyen and Ngoc Nguyen and one brother-in law, Hung Van Nguyen (deceased). He was also uncle to many nieces and nephews in the USA, Canada and Viet Nam. Some of the nieces and nephews live in Colorado: Minh Anh Nguyen, Lan Anh Delaney (husband: Mike Delaney), Phuong Anh Nguyen, Cong Nguyen. He was also great uncle to four nephews and one niece. Three grand-nephews live in Colorado: Joey Delaney, Josh Delaney and Jacob Delaney.
Quang Nguyen attended and graduated from Colorado State University with a master degree in Microeconomics in 1977, and he attended and graduated from Community College of Denver with a degree in Electronic Technology in 1982. He was resident of Colorado since 1979 and worked at NCR, Symbios Logic Inc, and LSI Logic companies from 1983 to 2003.
A Graveside Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., at Rest Haven Funeral Services, 8426 South Hwy 287, Fort Collins CO 80525.
Quang Nguyen will be forever remembered and missed by his family, numerous nieces and nephews, and his extended family and dear friends.
