Richard L. Byall
July 3, 1943 - July 11, 2018

Richard L. "Bud" Byall, age 75 of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 5:45 am on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at his residence. Born on July 3, 1943 in Fort Wayne, IN he was the son of Marion Francis and E. Ruth (Eppley) Byall.
Bud attended Jefferson Center schools and graduated from Arcola High School, with the Class of 1961.

Bud owned and operated Dunfee Custom Butcher Shop for 26 years in addition to working for Hudson Construction until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, traveling, camping, and making walking canes.

Bud was a member of Saturn Christian Church and an honorary member of the Carleton Motorcycle Club, where he was known as "Cousin Bud".

Survivors include his children Janeen (Pete) Carteaux and Arthur Byall, both of Columbia City, Adam Byall of FL, and William Byall and Richard Byall Jr., both of Fort Wayne; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Dee Dee (Jerry) Felger of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Barabra Wright.

Funeral services for Bud will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday July 16, 2018 at Saturn Christian Church, 6731 East 800 South, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior to service.
Arrangements by DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Memorial contributions in memory of Bud may be made to Saturn Christian Church or Prostate Cancer Foundation.
