Erna Grace Maye
February 12, 1933 - July 22, 2018

RIVERSIDE - Erna Grace "Ricki" Maye was born February 12, 1933 in Wood River, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Laura (Beckler) Stoltzfus. She moved to Iowa with her family in her youth. On May 19 1954 she was united in marriage to Gerald Maye in Uma, Arizona. They lived in Maine for 35 years where Grace worked for Fairchilds and Schlumberger making semiconductors. They have lived in rural Riverside since 1991. Grace "Ricki" enjoyed collecting dolls, playing the organ and piano, singing, traveling, bowling and spending time with her family and friends. Grace "Ricki" passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her home in rural Riverside at that the age of 85 years.
Grace "Ricki" is survived by her husband Gerald of Riverside; daughter, Diana (Terry) Adams of Mesa, Arizona; son, Ricki Carl of Bangor, Maine; 2 brothers, Einer (Mary Ellen) Stoltzfus of Kalona; Richard (Jacque) Stoltzfus of Johnston, Colorado; 4 grandchildren; Tina Halm, Wendy Gustin, Kelly Gyure, Nicole, and 4 great grandchildren; Cody, Adam, Matthew and Joshua. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Sterling Stoltzfus, John Stoltzfus, Jr., and 4 sisters; Elvira Yoder, Verle Marner, Donna Stoltzfus and Darlene Stoltzfus.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 pm at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for Iowa City Hospice.
