Dorothy Margaret Fink

Dorothy Margaret Fink, 98, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton, Iowa. She was born September 2, 1919, in Ackley, Iowa, to Theodore and Sadie (Ulk) Miller.
Dorothy was baptized into the Christian faith on September 28, 1919, and was confirmed on March 25, 1934. She graduated from Hampton High School in 1938. Dorothy worked for Iowa Public Service company, now known as MidAmerican Energy, as a secretary until she was married. She was united in marriage to Martin Fink on December 8, 1946, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, Iowa. Dorothy was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She served many years on LWML. Dorothy enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by three sons, James (Jackie) Fink of Hampton, Glenn Fink of Hampton, Alan (Janelle) Fink of Hampton, grandchildren Chad Spoo, Crystal Brown, Charlyn Williams, Cara Schwake, Darcy Davison, Danielle Sestina, Casey Fink, Kelly Fink, eleven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Shirley Miller of Orange City and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Martin Fink, three brothers, one sister, one step-sister and one step-brother.
