Tributes

Rick Shaffer wrote on Jul 26, 2018:

"To the Lawrason Family: I not only had the pleasure of working with Bruce at The Indianapolis Star, I was also a student as he taught copy editing classes at Butler University. I am writing this tribute because I always believed that Bruce was the best journalism teacher I ever had at Butler. And fortunately, I was able to convey those thoughts to him on more than one occasion. Good man, good teacher. God's blessings to you all. Rick Shaffer"
