John J. "Jack" Sura Jr., age 54, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2018.
Born in Perth Amboy, Jack was a lifelong resident of Toms River. For nearly 25 years, he was a local business owner that served both Ocean and Monmouth counties. He enjoyed vacationing in Florida, had a love of cars, football, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, never turning down a good meal.
Jack is survived by his beloved sons John J. Sura III and his wife Mandy and Matthew Sura and his wife Melissa; grandchildren Giulianna, Gabriella, Jaclyn and Jessica; parents John & Frances Sura; siblings George Sura, Denise Honeycutt and her husband Ken, Valerie Tabano, Raymond Sura and his wife Stacy and Anthony Sura and his wife Stella as well as many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He had an infectious smile, contagious laugh, and compassionate heart. He made friends with all people he met and he will be truly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 3PM to 7PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation will be private.
