Isaias Acosta
September 26, 1957 - July 29, 2018

Isaias Acosta, age 60, of the Whiting section of Manchester Township, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Isaias moved to the United States in the late 1950s at the age of two and resided in Brooklyn. Brooklyn was his home for the majority of his life and five years ago he reluctantly relocated to the Whiting area. He was known for his sense of humor and his infectious laughter. He was a passionate New York Yankees fan and enjoyed spending quality time with his family, friends and loved ones.

He was predeceased by his father Isaias E. Acosta. Surviving is his wife Elizabeth Acosta; children Denise Acosta, Angelita Acosta, Janill Acosta and Isaias Acosta Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother Angela Suarez; brother Ramon Acosta and his love, Rene Albanese; aunt Carmen Diaz and her husband Orlando; cousin Katherine Colon and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM and again on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 9AM to 10AM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 3 at 10:30AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River (Berkeley Township). Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
