Portia Mae Trulove-Simms, age 94, the daughter of Willie and Ruby (McDonald) Trulove, was born October 18, 1923 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away July 27, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Portia is survived by her daughter, Blaze Trulove; her family and friends at Notre Dame Sisters. She was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Simms; sister, Melba Trulove; parents Willie and Ruby Trulove; ex-husband Jacob Simms Sr.
SERVICES 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Notre Dame Sisters (3501 State Street). Memorials are suggested to Notre Dame Sisters (3501 State Street, Omaha, NE 68112).
