June A. Benjamin, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away July 29, 2018. She was born June 18, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Chester and Ethel (Mack) Meyer. June was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Paul A. Benjamin; children, Shirley (Dave) Amsler and Gary (Teri) Benjamin; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; and brother, Ross (Bernice) Meyer. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Chester, Robert, and Ralph.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 4-7 PM at Leppert Mortuary - Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN, with services to be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM, also at Leppert Mortuary. Entombment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to E. 91st Street Christian Church, 6049 E. 91st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
