Paul Scott Gregg, "Scotty", passed on July 30, 2018. He was born September 8, 1927 to the late Bernard and Mary (Caddick) Gregg. Scotty was 90 years young.
Scotty was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Carmel High School in 1945. He was also a graduate of Purdue University, with a degree in electrical engineering. He retired from Ransburg Corporation and was an avid ham radio operator.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Maryln; daughter, Darlene Gentry Klingensmith (Dan); grandchildren, Shannon McGrath (Rose Mary), Adam Klingensmith (Jody), Shane McGrath (Kari), and Arynn Thoma (David); sister, Mary Ann Sidell (Jim).
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Myra McGrath and brothers, Robert and Jimmy Gregg.
Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Rd., Carmel, IN, with visitation prior from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

"I remember Mr. Gregg as he was the first and best supervisor I had upon graduation from Purdue at the Ransburg Corporation. He was W9POC and gave me my amateur radio exam for the Novice license back in 1975. I remember seeing Paul and his love wife Marilyn at the Dayton Amateur Radio Convention on several occasions. The Amateur community has lost a great one.
