"I felt like Russ was like a brother to me- and losing him at this time in our lifes is so painful. His humor was so original - such a such a funny, wry, person- yet so good natured, incredibly sweet and understated. When he met & married Chris, I was so happy. Such a lively & devoted couple. I hope to be there for Chris who is also my dear friend. "

"I loved working with Russ so much. His nickname was "Science" due to his ability to add obscure facts into any conversation. I'm very happy that he thought enough of our friendship to call on me a few times in the last few weeks. Until we meet again my friend. "

Ursula Castiglione wrote on Aug 7, 2018:

"So sorry to learn of Russ's passing. I enjoyed the small amount of time spent with him while working at Dyno. He was a common sense and humorous guy. He will be missed for sure. Prayers to the family."

"Some people leave an imprint on your heart and Russ was one of those people for me. He could always make me smile even when it was a bad day. I feel blessed to have had him as a co-worker and as a friend. I'll never forget his hysterical stories, and his wittiness. He was a very special person and I am truly thankful to have had him in my life. Russy, you may be gone, but never forgotten. Chris, you were the light of his life. My heart hurts for you."
