" I?ll never forget this adventure with Kathy . WLS radio station out of Chicago was giving away tickets to an Elvis concert that was that night .Kathy and I both listened all day to the radio until finally it came time for the giveaway well much to my amazement I won the tickets! I called Kathy screaming I Won I WON. We both called our Moms to come and pick up our kids. Called the airport and were lucky enough to get seats on the 5 pm flight to O?Hare . From there we grabbed a cab to take us to the Mmerchandise Mart to pick up the tickets . The cabbie dropped us off at the concert center . This concert was just a few months before Elvis died but we had the time of our life. After the concert we grabbed a cab to take us to the train depot where we caught the last train of the evening and stayed with a friend of Kathy s that lived in a suburb. The next morning that gal took us to the Amtrak Station and we travelled back to Burlington. ? "
