Simmons, Derwin A., age 45, of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away on August 1, 2018. He was born on March 3, 1973 to Elijah and Doris (Bell) Simmons of Gordon, GA. Derwin leaves behind his parents; sons Shaun Alexander Simmons, Derwin Alexander "Zander" Simmons Jr. and Kyren Alexander Simmons; daughters MaKenna Jeana Teets-Simmons and Jaelyn Marie Simmons; brothers Elijah Simmons Jr. and Danny Alexander Baxter; sisters Cecilia Ann Simmons-Hitchcock and Eula Patricia Simmons-Manita; grandchild Aminah Paige Teets-Simmons; best-friend Rob Crowthers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the go-fund-me page of "Derwins Legacy" in Derwins name. The visitation for Derwin will be held on Thursday August 9, 2018 from 5PM - 7PM with the funeral service starting at 7PM at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011. Burial will take place in Georgia at a later date.
