Wallace "Wally" D. Pro, 75, of West Hartford, Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held graveside 1 PM, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 PM at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Wallace Dean Pro was born on May 24, 1943 in Houston, Texas, the son of Donald M. and Margarette B. (Pfeil) Pro. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in chemistry in 1966. He married Linda J. Anderson on November 26, 1966 in Clinton; she died July 23, 2014.
Wally worked as a chemist and in computer information in Rochester, NY, Cedar Rapids, IA, and more recently in Hartford, CT where he worked for Aetna Insurance and CW Resources. He enjoyed photography and traveled extensively with Linda. He was a member of several photography and computer clubs in the Hartford area.
Wally is survived by his sisters: Barbara D. Wood of Rochester, MN; Linda E. Pro of Kansas City, KS; niece and nephews: Tad Wood, Tasha Rinderle, Trenton Wood, and Travis Wood.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda.
Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
