"I was just thinking of Rev. Diskerud today. I never met him personally, but I spoke to him on the phone when I was working at Carthage?s alumni outreach program. He was one of the nicest, most interesting people I spoke to while working there, and I?ll always treasure the memory of the conversations he had with me. "

"I just read this, our Father Phillip Diskerud was Warrens cousin. When our Father passed in 2014 Warren sent the nicest verse to be included in our program. He spoke of Warren all the time and what and loved him so much. I am sorry for your loss. Our Mother loved Warren and family also. Becky Diskerud Kohoutek "

"I just learned of Warren,s death while looking on line. My name is Jacqui Lutz and Warren was my first boyfriend and gave me my first kiss. I?ll always remember him as the boy everyone looked up to and wanted to be like. It doesn?t surprise me that he led a distinguished religious life -there was always a goodness about him. Sorry he is gone but I will never forget him"
