"To the family of Janet ; We never got to meet, but I was there when Janet was born. Donella asked me to stay with her until the baby was born and help with other kids. I slept so soundly that I didn't hear them get up in the middle of the night to have the baby. We woke up in the morning when her dad came home and told us we had a little girl named Janet. We packed the other kids up and took them to spend the next week on the farm in Livermore until Mother and baby could come home. After that I spent many hours babysitting her and the others. I was only 15 when she was born. Some how we lost touch. She sure was a pretty little girl. So sorry this happened. She still was pretty according to the picture. I'm glad she was well liked. Our family is all saddened. --Aunt Mary (formerly from Livermore, now from Denver) We all loved her and the others."
