Terry A. Melkey, 64, of Indianapolis, departed this life Monday, July 30, 2018. Terry was born August 15, 1953 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late James and Norma (Mann) Melkey. He was a biomedical electronics technician and loved all things electrical. He enjoyed tinkering on electronics in his craft room while listening to talk radio. Terry was a kind and gentle soul who appreciated the simple things in life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Jaymee (Rector) Melkey; his dear brother, Gary (Jane) Melkey; sister - in - law Daisy Melkey; nephews, Blake and Anthony, as well as a host of other special family members.
Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Melkey.
The memorial service for Terry will be on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary - Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN.
