David C. Goodall
June 20, 1971 - August 6, 2018

DEFOREST-David C Goodall, age 47, of DeForest, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital.  He was born on June 20, 1971, in Bay City, Mich., the son of Kenneth and Janet (Parsons) Garthee.  David married Michelle Michels on Nov. 16, 1991, in Green Bay.  He worked for the last nine years at Transport Refrigeration as an account manager.   David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family, especially to Jamaica.  He rescued animals, was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, and loved listening to music, especially Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam.  David had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was known as a "foodie" and was the "grill master."  David is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughters, Amanda and Kayla Goodall; brothers, Jeffrey (Enid) Goodall and Thomas (Kathrine) Goodall; best friend, Kenny (Nickie) Klahn; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marissa Goodall; mother, Janet; and step-father, Kenneth Garthee.  Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 12 noon, on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, with the Rev. John Berg presiding.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shelter from the Storm animal rescue www.sftsrescue.org or to the charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to thank the medical staff and the Rev.
