Michael C. Viau
March 11, 1967 - August 1, 2018

Michael C. Viau, 51, Englewood, FL, formerly of Mosinee,WI died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at his home in Florida.
He was born on March 11, 1967 in Adams Friendship, WI, the son of Marvin Viau, Skidmore,Texas and Wilma (Kasdorf) Vetter, Mosinee, WI. He married Amy Hubacher in Jamaica on Jan. 27, 1997. She survives.
Mike was just a one of kind guy. He was probably the smartest, clever man you could meet. He had a way of figuring things out, a true "MacGyver" He had worked as an Engineer most of his life with his second family the "Mullins" he recently was an Engineer at the time of his passing at Flowers Foods in Bradenton Florida.
He had a sense of humor that brought on uncontrollabe laughter to all. He had a love of fishing and his family. The love Mike had for his kids and wife was like no other. They were his everything. He was so proud of his son becoming a Marine, and his daughter excelling at school. It was love at first sight with his wife Amy. The love they shared was like no other.
Michael was a Navy US Veteran serving in the Persian Gulf War. He aquired many shipmates, friends, brothers during his time. But, truthfully how could you not love the guy with his heart pure as gold and his witty disposition.
Survivors, besides his wife, Amy, include two Children, Michael Christopher Viau, Englewood, FL and Emily Viau, at home; a brother, Mark (Tracy) Viau, Mosinee, WI; and a sister, Melony Viau, Corpus Christi Texas. As well as both parents.
A celebration of Michael's life will take place Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, WI.
