Donald Joseph Fuss
July 9, 1936 - August 26, 2018

Donald J. Fuss, 82, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Sunday afternoon, August 26, 2018, at Unity Point Health Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.

A celebration of Donald's life will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. until service time on Thursday. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Farley, Iowa.

Donald Joseph Fuss was born on July 9, 1936 in LaMotte, Iowa, to Edward and Beatrice (Hayes) Fuss. He was educated in Farley schools. He married Jeanine LaPage on September 4, 1958 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.

Donald had first worked at Farley and Loetscher's in Dubuque for a couple years. He then worked on the assembly line at John Deere Dubuque Works for over 30 years, retiring in 1988.

Those left to honor Donald's memory include his wife, Jeanine Fuss of Maquoketa, IA; children, Brenda (Bill) Tryon of Marion, IA, and Kevin "Doc" Fuss of Maquoketa, IA; and 2 grandchildren, Billy and Briana Tryon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Donald J. Fuss memorial fund has been established.
