North English- Sharon E Williams was born May 29, 1948 in Oskaloosa, Iowa the daughter of James Richard & Lorraine W. (Koch) Williams. She lived in Mahaska and Grundy counties before moving to Iowa County. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church near Victor. She graduated from HLV High School in 1967. Sharon worked as a dietary supervisor for Brookhaven Nursing Home in Brooklyn for 20 years before retiring in 2011. Sharon was a member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Millersburg for many years. She enjoyed her dogs and gardening. Sharon died Monday, August 27, 2018 at the English Valley Care Center in North English, at the age of 70 years.
She is survived by an uncle Charlie Williams of Newton; and numerous cousins. She was preceded by her grandparents; parents; and an uncle Micky Williams.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Golden Rod Cemetery in Deep River. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com
