Elmer Psihoda, 93, of Carmel, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away August 27, 2018. He was born in Chicago on December 18, 1924 to the late Charles and Fannie (Ballek) Psihoda.
Elmer was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was retired from University of Illinois at Chicago as the operating engineer of the heating/air systems in all of their buildings.
Elmer is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alice; daughter, Sandra Lis; grandson, Eric (Jennifer) Lis; two great grandsons, Gabe and Augie.
Private entombment to take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Illinois.
