"Maxine and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. My dad, Jim Sagers, would tell us about the great times he had with Donnie and siblings as kids at your folks' farm. My mom, Marge, was fond of all of you as well. I'll always remember Donnie dancing with me at Rodney's and my wedding reception in 1983. It was such a surprise! I don't really dance, tho, and I've always hoped I didn't break too many of his toes - ha ha! (But seriously, I might have, as many times as I stepped on his feet!) It was such a nice gesture tho, and one I will not forget. Our deepest sympathy to you especially, Maxine, as well as to your children and grandchildren, and to Donnie's siblings. I'm sure you have many happy memories - Praise God for a life well lived! Joan (Sagers) Engelbrecht and Rodney Engelbrecht, in Springfield, Ohio "

Know he was in ill health for sometime-remember so fondly the trips he took with us to Colorado in the summers..They all sat around at night telling ghost stories-I was afraid to go to bed..May he rest in peace and may His guidance lead him to a better place..Love and blessings to all!
