Thomas Ralph Jones, age 81, the son of Ralph Edward and Laura Mary (Flood) Jones, was born March 8, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away September 8, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Tom graduated from Central High School and entered the US Navy in 1954-1962. He was stationed at Bremerton, WA and San Diego, CA on the USS Princeton. He married Nancy Kincaid on July 19, 1958. They moved back to Omaha, NE, where they raised their 3 children. He was a member of the Centennial Lodge #326 and also a member of the Tangier Shrine. He loved Nascar, Nebraska football, and spending time with his family and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Laura Jones; brothers, Bill and Bob Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 60years, Nancy; children, Brenda (Gene) Holman, Mary (Stuart) Siebels, Mike (Amy) Jones; grandchildren, Lanny (Andrew) Anderson III, Kristen Nicholas, Samantha (Mitch) John, Rebecca (Dominic) Castello, Brandon (Samantha Welchert) Morgan, Lauren Jones; great-grandchildren, Leah Anderson, Taylor, Ashton and Kate Nicholas; sister, Barbara Bergman; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, many other family and friends.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday with a Masonic Service at 7:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Inurnment with Military Honors at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, Tangier Shrine Transportation Fund or Olive Crest United Methodist Church (7180 N. 60th).
