"Hey guys!! I?m REALLY sorry I?m not there today to support you all in the physical but I?m most definitely there in spirit!!! I wanted to leave a sweet memory of mine...Mimi and I clicked from the very beginning!!! It?s no secret that some of the family was not happy that your Uncle John was dating me..no offense taken or given. But Mimi loved me from the day I walked in the door on Thanksgiving of ?89 at Grandma?s cabana on 23rd and Madison! I had the best time meeting you all, eating and of course dancing ??...I still remembered the surprised look on all the faces...?this white girl can dance!!!? But Mimi was one of the ones to embrace me from the beginning!! And after that it was always a sweet smile, a warm hug and a belly laugh every time we came in contact!! I remember looking for recipes that your uncle enjoyed and one of his favs was Mimi?s teriyaki chicken...yummm!!! She was so sweet to to not only give me the recipe but also showed me how personally!! It is still one of the favs and I have now passed it on to the kids!!! With all that said I just want you to know that I will miss my sis Mimi!! Never forgotten but surely missed!!! I love each and everyone of you..Nikki, Alicia, Marcus, Coley and TJ! May God hold you extra tight today and always!!! Please know that she is looking down on you and so proud of you!!! Love ?ARnissa?"
