In loving memory of

Charles Skipwith
March 30, 1944 - September 7, 2018

Charles Skipwith was born in Columbus, Mississippi to Sylvia Jones (Skipwith) on March 30, 1944.
Charles retired from Kroger bakery after 20 years of service. He then ran his own construction business for over 20 years. He was also known as the "Watermelon Man". Charles loved to work and travel. He also loved fishing and eating rabbit. Charles symbolized his dedication to Jehovah on February 14, 1994. He loved to tell people about his God, Jehovah. He preached to many people and medical professionals at the dialysis clinic and hospitals, making known Jehovah's name to all that would listen. Charles faithfully served as a Ministerial Servant at Forest Manor Congregation for years.
Charles was united in marriage to Debra Troupe on November 17, 2007 in Tupelo, Mississippi. Charles proved to be a loving husband and they were happily married for almost 11 years. During these 11 years, Debra was lovingly by his side night and day. They were a truly beautiful couple and an excellent example of the blessings Jehovah provides when you keep him first in your marriage.
