John M. Davis age 65, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Born on November 1, 1952 in Punta Gorda, Florida, the son of late Jesse Davis and Betty (Thomas) Davis. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas (Tommy) VanSciver. He has been a nurse since 1989.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean; two sons, Shawn (Melissa) Davis, Christopher (Katharine) Davis, two daughters, Tracy VanSciver and Amy Varnam; 3 sisters, Glenda, Carol and Karen and his brother, Brian; 14 grand-children and 3 great grand-children.There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
