Grace Marie Gordon Brown
August 25, 1931 - October 2, 2018

Grace Marie Gordon Brown, 87, of Carmel, Indiana departed this life Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was born August 25, 1931 in Anderson, IN to the late Lewis E. and Geneva May (Roeder) Gordon. She grew up and attended schools in Anderson and was a graduate of Anderson High School. Marie worked for Walker Information for many years as a graphics clerk. She was a kind and gentle soul who was an avid sports fan. She especially enjoyed bowling, golf and playing bridge. Marie was happiest though, making memories with her loving children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and always supported their endeavors.

She is survived by her beloved children, daughter, Terry (Steven) Wamsley; son, David (Donna) Brown; grandchildren, Crystal (Air Force Staff Sargent Justin) Anderson, Caitlyn Wamsley, Lindsey Brown, Kathryn Brown; great granddaughters, Braidyn, Madalyn, and Ryleigh Anderson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Gordon and former husband, and father of her children, Jack Brown.

A memorial gathering will be held at Leppert Mortuary - Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Rd., Carmel, on Monday, October 8th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
