"To Vicki's family, Want to extend my sympathy to all of of you. I worked with Lois and Lori at PACH for many years and know Vicki had to be a lot like them. God bless of all you during this hard time."

"Tasha, We are so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We knew Darlene & Lois were sisters, but didn't realize Vicki was Lois's daughter. Leonard, Darlene's deceased husband & my husband were first cousins. It's extra sad to lose both parent's in such a sort amount of time. Take care, Lori & Duanne Barth"

"I'll never forget this lady. She was not only a cousin but a friend, playmate and trusted care provider for my girls when they were little. She stepped in and took care of my girls when Dad suffered his sudden death in 1987, and as the girls grew she often watched them for me. I'll never forget the time she was taking care of them for me and she could not get Kayla to stop crying - she tried so hard to calm her but nothing worked. Vicki finally admitted defeat and called in the troops - my Mom, Darlene. Mom was at Bingo with Grandma Hauenstein so they loaded up and headed for Laurens. Vicki handed Kayla to Mom and the crying instantly stopped. Vicki kept her cool, though I'm sure she wanted to scream out loud. I never heard a bad word about anyone come out of her mouth. A big heart has left us all behind and the loss is deeply felt by us all. I am thankful she is at peace and free of pain and I believe there is an endless supply of 1-pound bags of peanut M&M's in her hand now. Vicki Ann - you are forever in our hearts. Linda Anania"

"One of my favorite memories of Vicki was a day out on the farm as a kid playing out on the farm. It was shortly after Boots (a little terrier dog) had a litter of 8 puppies. She couldn't wait to get her hands on them, so she snuck quietly down the basement stairs so as not to wake them, crawled into the little pen we had set up and waited for them to wake on their own. I being the impatient one decided there were better things to do than sit and wait, left to play outdoors. When I came back Vicki had them all in a bunch snuggled in close to keep them warm. I never lost that image and that's the way I think she lived her life. Vicki was more like a sister than a cousin. My sincere condolences to her family and everyone else who knew and loved her.
