William T. "Bill" Hunt, age 59, of Council Bluffs, passed away October 18, 2018 at his home. Bill was born August 20, 1959 in Council Bluffs to the late Donald L. and Virginia M. (Medley) Hunt. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1978. Bill worked his entire career for the Chicago Northwestern/Union Pacific Railroad as a signalman electronic technician. He was an avid bicyclist and cook. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale Hunt in 2009 and Edward Hunt in 2012. Bill is survived by his sister, Kim Kriegler of Gulf Shores, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Stefanie Hunt-Stortz, Jessie Boyette, Scott Hunt, Shannon Hunt, Jake Hunt, and Ashley Winkels; other family members and many friends.
