Patricia (Patty) Cowan, age 63 of Cincinnati, Iowa died Wednesday, December 01, 2010 at Centerville Nursing and Rehab in Centerville, Iowa.
Patty was born August 26, 1947, the daughter of Sig and Patricia (Crane) Anders in Port Angeles, Washington. She married Dennis Lee Cowan on February 8, 1964 in Unionville, Missouri. Patty accepted Jesus as her Lord & Savior at a young age. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Patty is survived by her husband Dennis; children, Tammy (Kevin) Poole of Seymour, Iowa, Brian (Haley) Cowan of Cincinnati, Iowa, and Karen (Craig) Bowman of Des Moines, Iowa; eight grandchildren; siblings, Amy (Martin) Callihan of Humphrey, Missouri, Jerry (Jean) Anders of Batesville, Arkansas; and a sister-in-law, Peg Anders of Unionville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billy Anders and an infant sister, Katherine Mary Anders.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Micaiah Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Iowa. A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home with family present from 6-8 PM. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Central Iowa and may be left at or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
